high fidelity

It's been almost 10 years since I watched the movie and this summer when I was looking for some ammo for my kindle I've jut found out the book by Nick Hornby and I instantly downloaded it and started to go back and forth between the pages which I remembered some of the quotes from the movie and there were a bunch more. So I've got the movie too and I was planning to watch it again after I finish the book. Okay, so it's not worked out as I've planned! I'm not nearly as close as I thought to end of the book.. maybe the first half! It's just because of the book reading style that I have according to my mood, seven books at a time :)
Anyway, so apparently today is the day I've lost my patience somewhere between realizing I've only 3 weeks left and planning everything is not so much fun. So I got my coffee and lie down on the couch for beautifully spent two hours. Yes I know it was sunny today outside and the weather was great and not to mention for November but who cares! I was out for the past three days and will be probably whole this week so I'm not even sorry (quote from Joey) :)
About the movie... I've realized again after watching it at first in the beginning of twenties and now thirties, there are a lot of things in common about how you feel but also a different approach to whole experience and in the end it catches you again no matter how old you are. So, I'm not going to give any spoilers but I wish we had this movie or I had it remake in Istanbul just for the songs that I could use and see the possible effect of it to the story.
One last note.. even though I didn't finish the book yet I've noticed a lot of important quotes from the book used in the movie consecutively, so you have to stop and think about them normally which you can do that while reading the book because they are placed apart and not every line..but in the movie, sometimes they appear line after line and no time to think and it's not fair and kind of missing the whole point and the essence of the book.

P.S.

-Rob: What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss. Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?
